Putin proposes to make the program of cashback on tours in Russia year-round for schoolchildren and students
Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that the cashback for domestic tourist trips for young people should be year-round, and the percentage of returns should grow.
At a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the ANO “Russia – Land of Opportunities”, one of the participants suggested that Putin think about a program to partially compensate the costs of Russian travel for young people and children.
We have this program – cashback: 20% is returned from the amount of expenses for tourist services in domestic tourism, but not more than 20 thousand rubles. This rule does not apply, indeed, exactly when young people – schoolchildren, students – vacation. Just in the summer, July, August, I don’t think it works. This should work for at least this category.”
Vladimir Putin adds: “The first thing we need to do is to expand the time and make sure that this tariff is gentle for schoolchildren and students, so we will call it cashback, it worked for them all year round <...> we need to increase this cashback.” And I will ask the government to think about it.”
