In Russia, the launch of railway cruises is expected by the summer. This was reported by the head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of the government.
The possibility of launching a completely new type of recreation "rail cruises" department worked with Russian Railways. The head of Rostourism explained that with this format of travel, entire train cars can be used for tourist purposes.
“It’s a fully developed program, when you sleep on the train, go on excursions, meals are included. This is an interesting new format that we want to launch this summer season.
At the meeting, Doguzova said that domestic tourism in our country fell by 25% over the winter. In total, about 15 million Russians went to rest in the country during this period.
The third stage of the tourist cashback program will start in the coming weeks.
