UK relaxes entry rules for Russians

Transport Minister Grant Shapps said on Twitter that travellers from Orange-listed countries can visit the UK from October 4 without having to take a PCR test before arriving.

The list of such countries includes Russia.

However, the relaxation of entry rules will not affect people who have not been vaccinated with one of the drugs approved in the UK.

Travelers will still need to get tested for coronavirus before departure, undergo PCR testing on the second and eighth day after arrival, and comply with a 10-day quarantine at home after arriving in the UK.

Moderna, Oxford/AstraZeneca, Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines are approved.
