Vaccinated tourists can visit Vietnam without quarantine from November
Authority Vietnam quarantine on arrival for vaccinated tourists visiting regions of the country in November as part of a project to restart international tourism.
Vietnam Plus reports: “Foreign visitors to Khanh Hoa, Quangnam, Quanggin provinces, as well as the cities of Da Nang and Phu Quoc island, selected as part of the pilot program to restart international tourism, will not have to comply with a seven-day quarantine from November if the PCR test taken on arrival is negative.”
In the first week of the trip, tourists should not leave the resort and the specified places, they should refrain from unnecessary contacts with other tourist groups.
Travellers who have come on holiday for more than a week should undergo a second PCR test on day 7. After receiving a negative result, they can travel to other provinces as part of the program if hotels and tickets have been booked previously.
Entry to Vietnam is allowed to foreigners only as part of organized tourist groups. They need a full coronavirus vaccination certificate (Satellite V approved), which must be completed no later than 14 days before travel and no earlier than a year. An alternative is a certificate of the disease transferred during the year. All arrivals will require a negative PCR test not earlier than 72 hours before travel. Also, travelers must obtain travel insurance with coverage of $ 50,000.
