Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova asks tour operators not to sell travel to Turkey and Tanzania after June 1

Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova asked tour operators not to sell vouchers to Turkey and Tanzania for the period after June 1 until the authorities decide.

According to her, this decision is due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the republics.

Earlier, Russia limited flights to Turkey and Tanzania from April 15 to June 1, and tour operators were asked to stop selling vouchers. According to the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, it is from there that Russians bring the most mutated strains of coronavirus infection.

Tourists staying in these countries will be able to return within the scheduled time. Also, in agreement with the company - the organizer of the holiday, this can be done earlier.

Russians arriving from Turkey and Tanzania will have to do the COVID-19 test twice before returning from abroad on May 1.
