The demand for the Russian direction is growing

Specialists of the distribution company Amadeus report that the interest of foreign tourists to Russia increased by 20% after the World Cup.

In the first half of 2019, the company recorded an increase in the number of foreign tourists coming to Russia by 19.5%, compared to the same period in 2017.

Experts specify that the past increase in the number of bookings of air travel to Russia (by 27% in the first six months of 2018) was explained by the World Cup.

Most often, citizens of Germany, Kazakhstan, South Korea travel to Russia this year. Other leaders in inbound tourism: Israel. Italy. France. Britain. USA. Czech Republic. The largest increase in bookings was recorded among guests from South Korea (+160%), Israel (+42%) and Italy (+16%).

The average visit of foreign visitors to Russia lasts 8-9 days. The longest in our country are Americans (16 days), Israelis (11 days), and Germans (10 days). Tourists from South Korea prefer short trips of 4-5 days.
