The Golden Ring of Russia will increase by almost 50 settlements
The route "Golden Ring of Russia" will be expanded to 49 new settlements - this decision was confirmed in the office of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
According to him, the regions included in the route are actively using support tools within the framework of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality”.
The program has already implemented 60 investment projects: modern hotels, multifunctional tourist complexes and infrastructure facilities are being built in Moscow, Moscow, Vladimir, Kostroma and Yaroslavl regions. In addition, these regions received a single subsidy for 2025-2027, which will ensure the sustainable development of tourism infrastructure.
In 2027, the Golden Ring will celebrate its 60th anniversary - and by this anniversary the route will be updated, becoming even more rich and diverse. In addition to traditional cities, Vladimir. suzdal. yaroslavl. kostroma. Sergieva Posada and Twice. 49 new settlements from seven regions will be included: Vladimir, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Moscow, Tver and Nizhny Novgorod regions.
This expansion is designed not only to preserve cultural heritage, but also to distribute the tourist flow, develop small towns and create new points of attraction for travelers - from ancient temples to unique craft laboratories and ethnographic routes.
