New Year

Fireworks begin a few hours before midnight. The fireworks start a few hours before midnight, around 9pm, and are only growing by the hour.

Anyone can set off fireworks on that night, but in some places where buildings are very close or made of wood, fireworks are restricted or prohibited (for obvious reasons).

December is the month when Norway is most lit, thanks to fireworks and the large number of candles lit in homes.
