Museum of Applied Arts of Western Norway

Nordahl Bruns Gate 9, Bergen, Norway

About the company:

The Museum of Applied Arts of Western Norway is a large collection of works of art by Norwegian and foreign masters.

This museum, housed in an ancient mansion, is also known by another name, often called simply “Permanentum”. The priority of the local collection is the works of Norwegian masters, but also valuable items from abroad are presented. For example, the museum exhibits a fairly large collection of Chinese art: marble statues, porcelain, jade, bronze, textiles, furniture and jewelry. One of the parts of the collection introduces samples of applied art of our time.
