Medieval Park Middelalderparken
Medieval Ruin Park Middelalderparken, Gamle Oslo, 0150 Oslo
Description:
Medieval Middelalderparken, a Norwegian park dedicated to the Middle Ages, was opened in 2000.
The park includes the ruins of two churches – St. Clement and St. Mary, as well as the Royal Estate. The park is surrounded by a lake called Tenerife. Here the coastline of the Oslo fjords, which appeared in the Middle Ages, is restored.
The atmosphere of the park, like a time machine, transports you to the Middle Ages. Arranged tents with various craft goods, small taverns, traders in old clothes - all this gives the place a special flavor.
