Oscarshall Castle
Description:
The capital of Norway Oslo is famous for its unusual sights. One of these is Oskarshall Castle. It was built in the mid-19th century and belonged to Norwegian kings. The castle is made in neo-Gothic style. Neo-Gothic was popular at the time among many Scandinavian structures. Numerous Norwegian masters worked on the decoration of the castle. Part of the castle territory is a park running up to the fjord.
Oskarshall Castle has regular tours, though in Norwegian. The location of the castle is convenient, almost the city center, which makes its visit affordable.
