Ibsen Museum
About the company:
The house-museum of Henrik Ibsen, the most famous Norwegian playwright, is visited by a large number of tourists. Henrik Johan Ibsen, who died in 1906, left a rich literary heritage and a new direction in drama.
Ibsen’s plays are still staged around the world, including in Russia. An interesting feature of the Ibsen house is the collection of frogs and trolls, which inspired the writer to work. Figures of small fairy-tale creatures still take their place on the writer's table.
The museum is located in the heart of the city, 50 meters from the entrance to the royal palace. Nearby there is a shop where tourists can buy souvenirs reminding of a visit to the museum.
