Canadian Football Hall Museum of Fame
58 Jackson St. W., Hamilton, Canada
About the company:
The Canadian Hall-Museum of Football Fame has gathered various testimonies of feats and achievements in Canadian football. It is a non-profit organization based in Hamilton.
The museum officially opened on November 28, 1972.
Near the museum building there is a thematic sculpture depicting two football players.
In the central part of the museum there are more than 200 metal busts of Canadian football players. Each year, a special committee selects up to 5 people to the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in two categories: "builders" who have made outstanding contributions to Canadian football, and players who have been involved in football for at least 5 years and have already achieved some victories.
The museum presents many football objects: trophies, helmets, balls, T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, flags, banners, etc.
The Museum and Hall of Fame are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30 to 16.30. The entrance fee is $7.
