Hamilton Technical Museum
900 Woodward Avenue, Hamilton, Canada
About the company:
The Hamilton Technical Museum will give a glimpse into the beginning of Canada’s Industrial Revolution. The building of the museum is a magnificent example of architecture of the XIX century.
The museum houses 70-ton steam engines that were used in Canada more than 140 years ago. Now there is one engine that demonstrates its capabilities to visitors every day. These engines are considered the oldest Canadian built-in engines, which were at one time advanced. Also, in addition to engines, the museum presents another technique, which will be told in more detail by guides.
The museum has permanent and temporary exhibitions, equipped with a wide range of special events that will interest visitors of all ages and categories.
