Fujairah is an ideal place for lovers of peace and quiet. The very nature around - the picturesque mountains of Hajar and green oases - have a leisurely lifestyle. There are not as many high-rise buildings as in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, but there are many fountains and various sculptural compositions in the traditional Arabic style. This small emirate allows you to combine the pleasant with the useful. You can visit the Archaeological Museum, where the finds of ancient settlements are stored, the oldest mosque of Al-Badiya, as well as to burn off the ocean. Fujairah overlooks the Gulf of Oman and is an excellent starting point for exploring the east coast, which is considered the most beautiful part of the country.
In order to have time, our journey with you will begin in the morning. The journey to the farthest emirate will take about 2 hours. On the way we will be able to watch the ships of the desert - camels, see real and sultry dunes and of course the mountains of the emirates of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
The first stop in the easternmost emirate will be the famous “Friday Market” (Suk Al Juma). It was once Fujairah’s main market and only operated on Fridays every week. Next on our way there will be a winding mountain road that will lead us to the part of the emirate of Fujairah called Dibba, where basically all 5* shore hotels are located. After seeing the beauty of the mountains on one side and the calming breeze of the ocean on the other, we will stop at the oldest mosque, Al Badiya.
Next, we are waiting for what everyone dreams of – the wild coast of the Indian Ocean. Swimming and a little sunbathing, we are waiting for lunch from the sea of foods and freshly bought vegetables and fruits.
