Today we will take you on a trip to the capital of Oman, the city of Muscat.
We begin our tour with a visit to one of the most beautiful buildings on this planet, the Royal Opera in Muscat. Then we will go to the main mosque of Sultan Qabooz, a magnificent architectural complex. Its architecture and interior decoration are unique to such an extent that you will not find it anywhere in the Middle East.
The next object of our visit will be the perfume factory AMOUAGE, where famous Arab perfumes are born. Here we can get acquainted with the history of the development of Arabian oils and perfumes, the secrets of their production, touch the fantasy atmosphere of amazing aromas.
Then we head to the delightful area of old Muscat. The Matra Bazaar will provide a wide range of shops of gold, silver, spices, pashmina, hookahs, old weapons, fabrics and antiquarian.
Our next stop is the old Muscat area, where we will walk in front of the Al Alam Palace, the official residence of Sultan Qabooz, with its fabulous towers crowned with gold and blue domes; touch the ancient history of the Mirani and Jalali forts.
Fiords Shangri-La is one of the most beautiful places in Muscat. Here you will have a great opportunity to take unforgettable photos. Then, through the Jebel Sifa mountains, bypassing the sea lagoons and mangroves, we head to the open ocean, where you can swim in the crystal clear sea water, relax and have a cup of coffee in the local cafe.
