Wahib Desert

In the morning, you will meet with a guide at the hotel, where your unique jeep trip to the Wahib Desert will begin.
The path will pass through small villages and towns surrounded by rocky terrain. The villages hide in the mountains or are located in small green fruit valleys with tiny ponds created by the waters of underground springs. In the valley of Wadi Bani Khalid you will walk through a delightful oasis (for this we recommend you to take a tour of comfortable clothes and shoes), enjoy swimming in natural pools with crystal clear and blue water.
After visiting the valley, you will have a delicious picnic lunch in the oasis, and after it, you will continue your journey to the Wahib Desert, the largest desert in Oman, shrouded in endless sand dunes. As the Omanis say, “This desert is unlike any other desert in Arabia and the world.” If you look closely, you can see the constant and imperceptible movement of the sand dunes. Every minute the desert changes its shape.
Our experienced guide drivers will show their driving skills in the highest dunes. Also, you will have a unique opportunity to test your ability to drive a jeep, and at the same time feel a rush of adrenaline. After an unforgettable jeep ride through the desert, you will visit the secluded homes of the Bedouin. This people always welcomes guests and gladly talks about the local life. After a fascinating and informative excursion, saying goodbye to the Wahib desert, you will again go to Muscat.
