Your guide will meet you in the morning at the hotel or at the port of Sultan Qaboos in Muscat. From there you will go to the city of Nazwa, which is 170 km from the capital of Oman-Maskat.
Nazwa is one of the largest cities in Oman and the administrative center of the province of Ed Dahiliya of the Sultanate of Oman. In the sixth century, Nazwa was the capital of Oman, and nowadays Nazwa is a commercial, historical, agricultural and recreational center.

In Nazva you will visit the city market, where you can buy souvenirs and fruits. Prices here are significantly lower compared to the Maxat markets. Then you will walk through the ancient fort, which is one of the main attractions of the Niva. This historical monument is one of the most visited places by tourists from all over the world. There the guide will tell you all about the history of this city and fortress.

Then you will go to the Al-Akhdar mountains, which are part of the Hajar mountain system and reach a length of 300 km from northwest to southeast. At the top of the mountain you will walk through the ancient village of Saik and visit two hotels: Alila and Antara. The first hotel once filmed the program “Eagle and Tails”. It is there that the famous observation deck offers a truly breathtaking view of the mountains and tiny villages. Then you will have a lunch/picnic in the mountains in Oman style and a stunning sunset on the observation deck of the hotel Antara.
