Trekking at the Grand Canyon

Today our way lies in the area of the ancient capital, the city of Nizva.
To get to the Grand Canyon, we have to climb the highest peak of the Hajar Mountains in Oman, Mount Jebel Shams. Or as the locals call it, the Sunny Top. Sunsets and sunrises here are simply amazing!
Trekking in the Grand Canyon takes 4 hours and promises a lot of fun. Narrow paths along majestic cliffs, mysterious caves, shrubs and trees, as well as goats from a nearby village, completely incomprehensibly moving through the stones in search of food. And finally, an ancient village and a garden of pomegranate trees, located in the waters of a huge cave. . All of this we have to see and capture in photos today.
The program also includes a visit to the 17th-century fortress in Nizwa, one of the most popular historical sites in Oman, as well as the old silver, spice and pottery market.
For trekking, you will need comfortable sports shoes, sunglasses, a hat or a Panama, as well as a shoulder backpack. Clothing should be comfortable for walking.
