The gold market is one of Salalah’s largest trading platforms. It is located near the roundabout of Nahda Salam, which is in the center of the city. It consists of small shops that have something to offer their customers.
In the market, it is customary to bargain, so even a very expensive thing can be bought for half the price, but in this bazaar and so very affordable prices. The most sold things, except jewelry, are silver knives, daggers and spices. Here, travelers can also buy something as souvenirs.
