About the company:
Czartoryzhski Museum is a part of the National Museum of Krakow and rightfully occupies one of the first places in terms of attendance by tourists.
The history of the museum begins in 1796. It was built by the establishment of Princess Isabella Czartoryzhskaya, located in the former building of the Krakow Arsenal, where it is still located today.
The collection of exhibits of the museum amazes with diversity. There are achievements of ancient culture - Egypt, Assyria and Babylon, and exhibitions of European painting, and decorative and applied art. However, without a doubt, the gems of the collection are Leonardo da Vinci’s painting “Lady with an Ermine” and “Portrait of a Young Man” by Raphael.
Tourists will be pleasantly surprised by the fact that the interior of the museum is still designed in the style of a private collection - the exhibits are in showcases, tightly arranged to each other, as was customary in the XIX century.
