Museum of Japanese Art and Technology Manggha
Marii Konopnickiej 26, Krakow, Poland.
About the company:
The Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology is located in Krakow, Poland. The collection exhibited by the museum was originally donated to the National Museum in Krakow. This generous gift was made in 1920 by writer and collector Felix Jasensky.
More than six thousand objects of Japanese art were hidden from everyone for several decades. For some time the collection was exhibited in the Cloth Rows, where it was seen by Andrzej Wajda. This young director gave birth to the Museum of Japanese Art and Technology Manggha. Andrzej Wajda donated a large sum of money to build this museum.
Finally, on November 30, 1994, the museum opened. Today, in addition to the luxurious collection of Japanese art, you can see other exhibitions dedicated to the cultural heritage of Japan. Everyone can not only visit, but also learn to organize a tea ceremony. The museum also hosts Japanese language and ikebana courses.
