Beekeeping Museum Swajendz

Poznanska 35.62-020 Swarzedz, Poland.

About the company:

The Beekeeping Museum is located in the small town of Swajendz, which is 11 kilometers from Poznan. This is an open-air museum, it houses many exhibits from all over Poland. Here you can get acquainted with the history of beekeeping, learn how it happens and even learn a little about the Poles, their culture and history.

On five hectares of land, which is how much the Museum of Beekeeping occupies, there are two hundred exhibits. Here you will see the simplest hives, and skillful unique sculptures. Some of the exhibits are several hundred years old, but they are perfectly preserved. There are also active hives on the territory of the museum, but local bees should not be afraid, they are very friendly and peaceful.

Tourists who come here can see hives in the form of bears, owls, musicians or, say, looking like a Chinese head. In addition to beekeeping monuments, you will admire the miniature church, town hall and other buildings of Polish architects and sculptors.
