Warsaw

F. Chopin. There's music left after him.

Description:

The tour is dedicated to memorable places related to the life and work of the great Polish composer and pianist Friederik Chopin. His talent was admired by Michael Glinka, Eugene Delacroix, Alexander I and many others. The composer was born in Elazowej Woli, but his childhood, youth, becoming a pianist and composer, was associated with Warsaw. During our tour, we will walk through the places with which F. Chopin was associated, hear his works coming from established shops on Krakow Premedie Street, and learn interesting facts from his biography. The final stage of our tour will be a visit to the F. Chopin Museum. It is the most modern biographical museum in Europe, home to the largest collection of Chopin relics in the world. The museum has multimedia exhibitions and tactile screens. This museum will be interesting for both adults and children.

I recommend planning this tour for the summer period, since from May to September, free concerts of F. Chopin’s music are held in the Royal Lazienki Palace and Park Complex on Sundays. At 12:00 and 16:00 young talents perform romantic music of the XIX century.
