The streets of the Royal Tract
Description:
Probably, in every city there is a “magic place” that brings happiness or fulfills desires. You just need to rub the element of the miraculous monument and perform a certain ritual. The Warsaw symbol of wish fulfillment is the bronze bell from 1646, which is located in the Old Town on the small square of Canonia. An error was made in the process of making the bell by the caster, and soon the bell was covered with cracks. It was never used for its intended purpose, the bell was kept for a long time in the dungeons of the National Museum, and since 1972 the bell honorably “works” as a wizard.
A tour of the Old Town will open for you charming narrow streets, Catholic churches, double defensive walls from the XIV and XV centuries, Barbican and much more. Already from the Castle Square you can look at the Royal Castle, which for centuries served as a royal residence, and now with wide open doors welcomes its guests as a museum. Next, we will walk to the most important Catholic church in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, find out where the “magic place” is located and pass to the Market Square of the Old City. I would like to tell you about all the secrets that the historical center holds.
