Market Square in Warsaw
The Old Town (Rynek Starego Miasta)
Description:
The market square is the heart of Warsaw. It is attractive both for numerous tourists and for citizens.
Everything here resembles medieval Europe: ancient architecture, restaurants, small shops, street musicians and artists. Now the square is surrounded by stone buildings that appeared after a fire in 1777, until then it was framed by wooden buildings.
Tourists love the Market Square for the unique spirit of the Middle Ages, as well as for numerous souvenir shops where you can buy a piece of Warsaw as a memory for yourself and your loved ones.
