Lion's Gate Cave

Two-eyed (grotto "Two-Eyes", "Glyadeny") - a stone age nature monument of Khakassia, located 50 km from Abakan, 1.5 km from D. Tolcheya (Bograd district). From the village of Tolcheya to the mouth of the log it is possible to drive by car, then go to r. Push and climb the gently slope. The entrance to the arched cave, its width is 3-4 m, height is about 3 m, the length of the grotto is 15 m. There are no draught formations, the grotto is dry, at the bottom there are loose sandy and loamy deposits. The walls have two windows ("eyes"). In the cave found a cultural layer of the Paleolithic - one of the earliest settlements in Khakassia man. The cave is a monument of history.
