Salbyk Kurgan in Russia

You will see one of the most majestic and mysterious monuments of Southern Siberia - the Big Salbyk Kurgan, which is located in the Valley of the Kings. The monument was built in the 3rd century BC and was a funerary structure of a very powerful man. In ancient times, the blocks rose to a height of two meters, and at the corners and sides of the stone fence vertical monoliths reached a height of six meters. The weight of the stones is from 30 to 50 tons.
The large Salbyk mound testifies to the existence of a strong power of the steppe leader and dependent ordinary members of society.
One and a half kilometers from the mound is a two-pole anomalous zone marked by two menhirs called Salbyk Gate. People come to this place who believe in their healing power. The mystery of the menhirs is not finally solved.
