Khakassia chests

Description:

What is time?

Time is what we measure our lives by. We, modern people, only need to look at the clock or turn on the phone, and how did our ancestors, who did not even know about all the benefits of the modern world?

“Who owns the information, owns the world” – for our great-great-grandfathers it was one of the laws of survival, because if you know when spring will come, you can prepare in advance for the flooding of rivers, prepare the soil for sowing. The mountain range “Sunduki” in Khakassia is a place where you have an ancient clock over your head, before your eyes an endless mountain steppe, and under your feet an inexhaustible source of energy. It is extremely beautiful here in spring, summer, and winter, but especially in early autumn!

Chests are a huge open-air museum, a calendar by which people check so far, a place where history comes to life on rock sheets. Chests are a temple of time in Khakassia.

Chests for more than forty years were the object of close attention of a group of scientists led by Larichev Vitaly Epifanovich from the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. These ancient astronomical observatories of the Okunev and Tagar periods in the form of rock temples, lines of stone limbs and observation priestly sites for the first time most consistently began to study Larichev.

Most tourists and pilgrims who come here come not only for information about astpronomic effects, but with other, more applied, rather than cognitive goals: to “feed” with energy, ask for health or something else, launch programs for the future and so on. Undoubtedly, the Chests were originally the Place of Power, and they were so long before the creation of astronomical objects!

Following the hypothesis of the famous archaeologist Eremin L.V., the chests can be considered as part of a much larger system of ancient sanctuaries. Many petroglyphs in this region are likely of an earlier origin than the Okunev period, and belong to the period of the "Hyperborean slide" of civilization. Most power points of artificial origin: for example, stone steles are installed in special places of the earth’s crust with specific applications.

The place of the Force of the Chest is especially revered in the traditions of Khakass shamanism: on the summer solstices and autumn equinoxes, sometimes at solar eclipses, shamanic kamlaniyas are held at the foot of the First Chest. Since June 2011 there is a Museum-Reserve.
