Three lakes

Lake Bele is located 25 km northeast of Shira station. This is the largest lake of the Republic of Khakassia. The basin of the lake is a wide trough-like depression stretched in a northeast direction. One of the attractions of the lake is a rocky protrusion in the middle part of the lake bath, which divides it into two springs, which received the status of independent reservoirs among the local population - Big Bele and Small Bele. The area of the water mirror of Lake Bele is 75 km2, the length of the coastline is 66.3 km, the maximum depth reaches 48.2 m. The chemical composition of the lake water refers to sulfate-chloride-sodium-magnesium with a relatively high mineralization (9-14 g / l).

Lake Tus is located 30 km north of Shira station. The area of the water mirror is 2.65 km2, the length of the coastline is 8.0 km, the maximum depth reaches 2.0 m. The water of the lake is classified as brines with a weakly alkaline reaction (pH = 8.3-8.4). The level of mineralization of water leaves 67-94 g / l.

Lake Kyprino is a fresh lake near Lake Tus. After swimming in the bitter salt water of Oz. Tous. The skin is covered with a salty crust, to remove it, bathe in a lake. Kyprino. Locals say that soon Kyprino will be as salty as Oz. Tous.
