Ancestor Trail

You will go on a walking tour of the “Ancestors’ Path”. The route passes among the picturesque mountain valley of Iusa. The trail goes along the high bank of the river, descending and rising, passing through valleys, arches and steep slopes.

The ancient name of the rock massif Togyz-As translates as “nine mouths”. After all, if you look from a high point of the shore, you can see nine large grottoes, similar to open mouths. According to the ancient belief, all who pass the route and overcome all nine grottoes, as if they are reborn again, and their lives become better.

The tour is held for vacationers in Abakan and on Lake Shira.
