Museum-Reserve "Kazanovka" in Khakassia

RH, Askiz district, Kazanovka village, Khakassia, Russia.

Description:

Museum-reserve "Kazanovka" was opened in 1996 and over time became the main attraction of Askiz district and Khakassia. Here you can listen to legends and see how the indigenous peoples of Khakassia lived at different times.

The main attractions of the museum are ancient petroglyphs with images of different spirits and gods, religious rites and animals.

Here it is worth visiting the ancestral rock of the Mainagashevs Inei-Tas, which is very similar to the old woman, as well as traditional Khakass dwellings: yurt, measles and birch bark huts, outbuildings with household utensils.

The most important attraction of the museum-reserve is the White Stone Ah Tas. It is also called the “medicinal stone”, because it has long been used by the local population to treat various diseases.
