Description:
Symbolic stone "Here will be laid a monument in honor of the 250th anniversary of the accession of Khakassia to Russia"
Since the 14th century, the states around Russia began to voluntarily join it. And the Republic of Khakassia was no exception.
In 1701 it became part of the Russian state. It was only since 1950 that this event was celebrated. It is accompanied by various events, festivities and fireworks. In honor of this, some cities built monuments and named streets, such as in the city of Abakan. There, in 1958, on June 17, a symbolic large stone was installed on Pervomayskaya Square, which depicts the inscription: "Here will be laid a monument in honor of the 250th anniversary of the accession of Khakassia to Russia." But in 1970, the stone was moved to the station square, as it interfered with the improvement of the street.
Now it is located near the monument to Lenin. You can get there both on foot and by any transport.
