On the Sayan Canyon

The route begins in the gulf of Joyskaya Sosnovka and passes through the reservoir to the exit to the Tuva basin (240 km, of which 150 km are within the boundaries of the reserve) with stops / overnight stays in the reserve reserve reserve reserve. Its program includes educational, leisure programs and walking environmental excursions.

Day 1. 7:00. Departure from Abakan.
9:00. Arrival at Joyskaya Pine, loading on the boat. Beginning of the trip to the reservoir.
Breakfast and lunch on the boat.
On the way, observation and photography of animals and birds (the most likely meetings of the Siberian mountain goat, a large cormorant, a kite, gulls, a white-tailed eagle).
20:00. Arrive at the Kurgol cordon. Dinner.

Day 2: 6:00 - 7:00. Wake up. Breakfast at the guest house.
7:00 - 12:00. Interactive walking tour along the Path of the Pathfinder about the traces of animals and plants of the river valley. With access to observation points and photography. Climbing the low ridge of the right side of the valley. Animal watching. Return to the cordon.
12:00 - 12:30. Swimming in Kurgol Bay. (water temperature is about 20 degrees. C)
12:30 - 15:30. Lunch at the guest house. Free time.
15:30 - 18:30. A walk through the floodplain forest (possibly on horseback, if the horses are not involved in patrolling on this day) with a visit to natural solons, the remains of the Tuvan camp (1960-1980s), a hunting hut and a labaz.
18:30 - 23:00. Bath. Dinner and evening leisure program in the fireplace hall of the guest house. Overnight in guesthouse rooms.

Day 3. 6.00 - 7.00. Wake up, morning tea. Get on the boat.
7:00 - 13:00. Travel by boat on the Sayano-Shushensky reservoir on the route "Kurgol - checkpoint "Shugur" - tract "Iyme". Walking tour to the mineral cult-balneological spring "Arzhan-Azhig-Sug". Acquaintance with the traditions of Tuvan arjanotherapy. Return to the boat.
13:00 - 16:00. Lunch on the boat. Return to the Kurgol cordon.
16:00 - 19:00. Free time. Swimming in the Kurgol Bay
19:00 - 23:00. Dinner, evening leisure program and overnight stay in the guest house.

Day 4. 7.30 - 8.30. Breakfast at the guest house.
8:30 - 18:30. Travel along the Sayano-Shushensky reservoir along the route "Bay of the Us River - Kerem checkpoint - Golay checkpoint" with calls to the bays of the Tepsel, Big Golay and Kyzyrsuk rivers. Short excursion (less than 1 km) to the hunting winter. Lunch on the boat.
18:30 - 23:00. Bath with bathing in the reservoir. Evening leisure program and dinner in the cabin company of the checkpoint "Naked". Overnight in 2 and 3-seat cubicles at the floating base.

Day 5. 8.00 - 8.30. Breakfast at the shipyard's cabin.
8:30 - 19:30. Hiking tour "On the Hunter's Path" in the valley of the Malaya Golay river. Lunch at the stake. Interactive excursion about traces of animal life and plants of the river valley with access to observation points along the northern border of the reserve, to high-mountain cedars, cart lakes and photography. Return to the Naked Checkpoint.
19:30 - 23:00. Bath. Swimming in the bay of the river M. Golay. Dinner and evening leisure program in the cabin company, overnight stay in 2 and 3-seater blocks of the floating base. Viewing videos about PAs, photos of the past trip.

Day 6. 9.00 - 10.00. Breakfast in the cabin.
10:00 - 16:00. Travel along the reservoir along the route "Kolaya checkpoint - Bay of the Joyskaya Sosnovka River" with a call and a walking tour to the waterfall "Coil". Lunch on the boat.
16:00 - 18:30. Transfer from the bay of the Joyskaya Sosnovka River to Abakan with an excursion to the observation deck of the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP.
