Day 1. Departure to the Republic of Tuva
Group meeting in Abakan.

Departure to the Tuva Republic. The road runs along the ancient Usinsky road, part of which belongs to the great silk road. The Usinsky tract is one of the most picturesque and fascinating roads of Siberia. Like the Chui tract in the Altai, the road passes through various natural zones: a plain with endless fields, replaced by dark coniferous taiga; mountain passes with impressive beauty of the Sayan serpentine, pass into the endless Tuvan steppes and velvet hills. A transit stop to photograph the Sayan Mountains and Sleeping Sayan.

Stop at the taiga market Tanzybey, here you can buy herbal fees, berries, honey, jam, pine nuts. There are also cafes and toilets.

On arrival in town, lunch.

Sightseeing tour: visit the Center of Asia and the magnificent embankment of the Yenisei. The center of Asia is the geographical center of the Asian continent. The tall spire grows from a globe standing on 3 lions. Another famous sculptural composition “The Royal Hunt”.

Excursion to the Tuvan National Music Center, acquaintance with the performers of traditional Tuvan throat singing - "Khoomei".

Visit to the stellarium "Aldyn Doshka". Here are archaeological monuments from the museum funds found in Tuva. The stone library features 44 statues from the Bronze Age to the Mongol period. Having visited the stellarium, you can learn about the ancient and medieval history of Tuva, presented in the archaeological collections of the stone and paleometal epoch.

Lunch at the café in town.

Visit to the National Museum of Tuva, the exhibition "Scythian gold" (40 minutes). The National Museum of Tuva is the property of the Republic, with a huge gilded dome and a collection of gold reserves of an ancient mound. More than a thousand unique gold jewelry are in the fund of the museum.

Inspection of the healing spring of Arzhan Kundustug. A well-known mineral source of “living water”.

Return to Abakan.
