Abaza

Silver, glamour and tanks

Description:

From 250 euros.

Now I will tell you about my excursion from Prague to Jilova-u-Prague, the castle of Emniste and Tynets-nad-Sazavoi.

Today, the plan is to continue comprehensive probing of European culture and history.

The morning will begin with the Barbarian kingdoms.

Long ago, in the Merovingian era, when the East’s trade relations with the West were just beginning, money was in short supply.

The puberty economy at that time needed more and more coins, and silver in Europe was mined very little.

Moreover, artisan imitations of foreign solids, silicves and dirhams were extremely primitive and crude.

Centuries passed and the Europeans had their own denars, shillings, and deniers.

The Crusades blew up the demand for gold money and began to shovel gold veins everywhere.

It is for this reason that Jilova-u-Prague became New Vasiuki.

Here in the second half of the XIII century actively mined yellow metal.

In one thousand three hundred and twenty-fifth of the year of Yilovsky gold, Jan of Luxembourg ordered to mint a full-fledged Czech florin, and soon Jilové-u-Prague received the status of a royal city, beginning to develop rapidly.

Visiting the local museum, gazing at unusual exhibits and talking about gold mining, alchemists and how New Vasyuki became Vasyuki again is the first of today’s tasks.

The second task is to study the huge exposition of military equipment.

Near Yilov, hundreds of tanks, armored personnel carriers, motorcycles, guns and trucks are piled up, and therefore a very interesting conversation about the history of the Czech military industry is expected.

The next target is Tynets nad Sazavoi.

As you know, throughout the Czech Republic piled countless old castles, and therefore one of them is always on the way.

Long before the Yilov gold rush in Tynets nad Sazavoy there was already a settlement with ramparts, a wall and a deep moat.

Traveling knights, visiting merchants and pilgrims converged here for the night, and in the fourteenth century a gentry castle grew here, the star of which set several centuries later.

Today, this quiet provincial town is famous for the production of what all the boys of the seventies dreamed of - Jawa motorcycles.

The last topic today is Czech Baroque.

Architect František Kanka is one of the pillars of the famous pleiad of Santini-Alliprandi-Dinzenhofers.

Not far from Tynets nad Sazavoi, Emniste Castle flaunts, to the construction of which he put his hand and soul.

This baroque manor is beautiful outside and amazing inside, and therefore definitely deserves a couple of hours of close attention.

Then Prague.

By the way, as usual, restaurants with conscientious cuisine and beer will certainly meet.
