Abdulin Museum of Local History

The most interesting collections: clothes and household items of the Russian, Chuvash, Tatar peoples, an archaeological collection, personal funds of participants of the Civil and Great Patriotic War, a collection of military uniforms.

The initiators of the museum were M.V. Nosareva – a teacher of secondary school No. 1, N.S. Zinc – one of the first Komsomols of the city, S.A. Parshintsev and N.F. Popov – participants in the Civil War, A.I. Petrov – a veteran of pedagogical work. For 45 years, the museum has become one of the centers of cultural and educational work in the city and the district. The museum is visited by more than 9,000 people per year.

The main activity of the museum is the patriotic education of the younger generation. Every year, the museum hosts meetings with interesting people of the city, cycles of museum stories about the history of the city streets, maritime dynasties and veterans of the Great Patriotic War, a series of events “History of the Museum object”, organizes conscripts days, open days in the museum, city days and other events.

The museum staff prepared and published books "Museum Brotherhood", "Heroes - Ablulins". The museum closely cooperates with the regional archive, district newspaper, literary and artistic figures of Abdulino.
