Recreation center "Energy" Adler

Recreation center "Energia" is located on the quiet outskirts of the Adler district of the city of Sochi, on the shore of the Lower Imeretian Bay, 20 m from the sea. Adler is the warmest place in Russia. This area of Sochi is located on a plain, protected from the north by the Main Caucasian Range with its eternal ice and peaks that do not melt even in summer, which thereby causes relatively high average annual air temperatures here. Nizhny Imeretinskaya Bay is the only unique place in Russia where birds listed in the red book stop for flight, here medicinal mud is found. The Energia complex is located on an area of 0.8 hectares. At the same time, the area of landscaping is more than half of the total area. More than 100 species of plants grow on the territory of the complex. Among them: date palm, banana palm, elephant palm, 13 varieties of cypress, magnolia, camellia, chocolate tree, fruit-bearing subtropical plants, yucca, cork tree, and many others. The area is well maintained and cleaned daily. The paths and alleys are paved with tiles, equipped with urns and illuminated at night. The entrance to the territory is guarded around the clock.
The Energia Turbine Base is located 10 minutes drive from the center of Adler and from the border with Abkhazia, 30 minutes from the airport and the Adler railway station, 50 minutes from the ski resort Krasnaya Polyana.
