Dichkovo Lake is a natural reservoir located within the city of Alexandrov, as well as a water natural monument. The origin of the lake is glacial, it feeds on underground and rainwater. The lake has an area of 20.5 hectares, its depth in the middle reaches 15 meters, the width of the protection zone is 1 kilometer, and the age is about 30 million years.
Dichkovskoye is a very picturesque lake. Especially magnificent is its eastern slope, where a pine forest grows and there are steep cliffs. It is believed that the lake received its name due to the abundance of various game in its vicinity. Currently, Dichkovsky’s bioresources are small. In the lake live pike, carp, bream and other fish. Today it is a favorite place of swimming and pleasant rest.
