House-Museum of A.I. Musatov

Not far from the city of Alexandrov, located in the Vladimir region, there is a small village Lizunovo. In the village there is a museum, where the interior of the house is recreated, in which the famous Soviet nourisher Alexei Ivanovich Musatov spent his childhood and youth years.

Employees of the museum for a long time collected, and now carefully store personal belongings of Alexei Ivanovich, lifetime editions of his books, books of famous children's writers, which the authors presented to Musatov. Recently, the interior of the carpentry workshop, where Alexei Ivanovich’s father worked, was restored, and now you can see toys made by the writer himself.

The house-museum of Alexei Ivanovich Musatov is part of the Alexander Literary and Art Museum of Marina and Anastasia Tsvetaev.
