Alexeyevka

The city was founded in 1685, with a population of 38,447 (2017). Alexeyevka is located 160 kilometers from Belgorod. Type of climate: moderate, it is possible to grow grapes and sunflowers.

In the area of the modern city were settlements of the era of the Khazar Khaganate.

During the Great Patriotic War on July 5, 1942, Alekseevka was occupied by German fascist troops, the city was liberated on January 24, 1943.
