Alay Historical and Local Lore Museum

The organization was formed in the 1960s. For many years it was headed on a voluntary basis by S.K. Moroz and N.A. Shkurov. Exhibitions were dedicated to veterans of war and labor. Since 1998, systematic work has been carried out on the acquisition of the fund, their accounting and scientific substantiation. Excursions and lectures were not reviewed. The excursions developed now cover the life of the Alayans, the history of enterprises is written, chronology is compiled. The hall "Archaeology" is open, unique materials are presented: backbone, ornamented ceramics, arrows, grain grinders, punctures, pestas, ceramic vessels and much more. An exhibition hall was opened, where art works of artists of Altai and Aleisk are exhibited.
