Monument to A.S. Pushkin in Anapa

In Anapa at the end of the twentieth century, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of A.S. Pushkin, a monument to the national poet was erected. Among the inhabitants of Anapa, many admirers of the creativity of the luminaries of domestic poetry. The face of the poet flaunts on a high pedestal, it can be found inside the square of the famous sanatorium "DiLuch".

The composition of the monument consists of a pedestal and a three-step staircase, next to it there are railings, the circle is decorated with lush flowerbeds of different colors. The greatest folk poet is immortalized in bronze. Its design deserves special attention: thanks to the monumental original modeling, it looks majestic and stands out among other pedestals of Russia.

The poet himself visited Anapa (Kuban) during the height of Turkish rule, he saw this place in 1820. Currently, his monument in the city of Anapa can be found on Pushkin Street, which is located at the end of Black Sea Street.
