The resort town of Anapa is known for many of its various monuments and sculptures. On the quiet and green resort street of the city among the magnificent Crimean pines and stunning landscape is a very original and well-known monument.
Near the Crimean pine can be seen sitting on a log good doctor Aibolit in a hospital cap. Near the doctor we see his favorite patients - a squirrel, a parrot, a pig, a monkey and a hippo. Not far from them rests on a log-built umbrella, which is known as a parachute for the doctor who uses it during his adventures.
The monument, known to both children and adults, was opened in 2011 and has already become a real landmark of the city, which tourists want to get acquainted with.
Dr. Aibolit is located on Kalinin Street and the sculpture can be reached from the Glory Square.
