About the company:
F.A.Abramov Literary and Memorial Museum is the only state literary and memorial museum in the Arkhangelsk region and the only museum in Russia of Fyodor Abramov. Here are collected and carefully stored relics related to the life and work of the writer.
The building of the museum was built by the Verkol monastery in 1877 for the parish school. In the 20-30s of the twentieth century, there was a Unified Labor School of the 1st stage, in which the future writer studied. In 1985, the building was transferred to the museum, created on the basis of the decision of the Arkhangelsk Regional Executive Committee “On perpetuating the memory of writer Abramov Fyodor Alexandrovich” dated September 13, 1984.
