Vinogradov Historical Museum

The guardian of the history of the past and the present in the Vinogradovsky district is the Vinogradovsky Historical Museum. The museum opened on January 21, 1970, initially on a voluntary basis. From October 1, 1993 it became state. Currently, the museum has about 10 thousand items of the main fund, which are constantly replenished. The exposition of the museum is presented in four halls. Today, the museum has the following expositions: “Nature of the Dvinovazhya”, “Motives of the Northern Village”, “How the Great Victory Forged”, “Metric books are the source of pedigree”.

The most valuable (unique) collections:

• collection of spinning wheels with wrestling painting;
• a large collection of numismatics, its oldest particle is the coin of the Golden Horde of the end of the XIV century;
• collection of notifications about the dead and missing during the Great Patriotic War, called Vinogradov military enlistment office, and more.
