Dukkin (Arkasar) lakes
Description:
This route is the second most popular after the Sofia Lakes. The path to it is much easier and suitable for unprepared tourists.
Three lakes are located in the upper reaches of the Malaya Dukka River at an altitude of 2,450 meters above sea level on the Arcazar Range, hence the name. The length of the route is about 10 km in both directions. Here you need a throw on UAZ, to the place where the trail begins about 4 km.
The gorge itself is quite picturesque, the path is gentle, the rise begins closer to the lakes. The first lake "Rybka" and the second "Arkasar" are similar and located close to each other. By the third, the largest of them called "Fairy Tale of the Caucasus" you need to go the other way along a narrow path along the cliff.
The water in all three lakes is icy, bathing only extremes.
