Imereti Lakes - Zakan

In the Imereti gorge there are more than 40 lakes. Many of them are located in the “rest zone” of the Caucasian State Biosphere Reserve. In the format of a four-day tour we will visit 5 lakes. The largest and most beautiful is the Silence Lake, or Great Imeretinsky Lake.

Its area is almost 200,000 square meters. The remaining 4 lakes are located close to each other. Lakes Geographers Kuban, Riviera and Celestial we will see from above. To Lake Bush we will approach the very shore. Its area is almost 100,000 square meters.

It's a medium-sized hike. Pass to the reserve in the amount of 300 rubles. Man. /day is paid separately.

Tour program: the first day - throwing on the farm Zakan - 3 hours off-road, approach to the waterfall 5 hours without sharp rises almost in a straight line, overnight in the lower camp. The second day - we go to the upper camp near the Great Lake Imeretinsky - a couple of hours on a steep climb. The third day is a radial exit to the other four lakes. The fifth day - descent to the Zakan cordon and departure to Arkhyz.
