Museum of Mining, Geology and Speology

The only mining museum in Russia, which is located on the territory of the operating mine of the plant, at a depth of 70 meters. The museum consists of several halls. The most valuable exhibit is a tooth and a fragment of the mammoth spine. There is also a unique collection of rocks and minials. The paintings on the walls are absolutely delighted. Once 35 thousand years ago, the caves were a refuge for ancient people, they then painted buffaloes, mammoths and other animals on the walls of their homes. The museum provides two styles of paleological painting: Western European, found in caves in France, Italy, Spain; painting of a cape cave discovered in 1959 in the Southern Urals. Especially original looks room shungite plates. Originality lies in special healing properties. Underground in the cave grow mushrooms. The yield exceeded all conceivable and unthinkable records.
