The city tour covers the part of the city associated with the stay of Peter I in Astrakhan.

The province included cities with adjacent territories: Astrakhan, Guryev Yaitsky (modern Atyrau, Kazakhstan), Dmitrievsk (modern Kamyshin), Petrovsk, Samara, Saratov, Simbirsk (modern Ulyanovsk), Syzran, Tersky city, Tsaritsyn (modern Volgograd), Krasny Yar, Black Yar and Kizlyar.
